Oh what an amazing day! And what joy it is to be able to relax in the park, book music and the wireless all at hand! I can catch up on essential reading while basking in the smell of freshly cut grass. Life is good.
Throughout the week, if I'm busy, I get most of my news snippets from BBC Radio 4 - which has its obvious limitations. For example I realised that all week I haven't heard anyone on the radio refer to the ash erupting Icelandic volcano by name.
It's spelled Eyjafjallajokull.
